The Buddha said that the mind is very difficult to see, very delicate and subtle, that it moves and lands wherever it pleases. It wanders far and moves about alone; it is without any perceptible forms; it lies in the cave (chamber of the heart), the seat of consciousness. The wise one should have control over his mind, for a disciplined mind brings happiness.

Dhammpada

...who will succeed  in  disentangling this tangle...?
